Hoffmann Hospice Grief Support Groups are led by trained grief counselors. The meetings are free and open to allYou need not to have had a loved one on our service to attend.

All Grief Support Groups are held at The Hoffmann Hospice Grief Support Center at
4325 Buena Vista Bldg. B. Bakersfield, CA 93311.

Survivors of Suicide Loss Group Meets 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at Hoffmann Hospice.

Dedicated to Comforting the Grieving in Our Community

Grief is not limited to feelings of sadness. It can involve guilt, yearning, anger and regret. People in grief can bounce between different feelings as they make sense of their loss.

Missing A Piece of My Heart is a 10-week group specially designed for loss due to substance abuse. The group meets in person at the Hoffmann Hospice Grief Support Center.

The next Missing A Piece of My Heart will start in fall of 2024.

“Navigating Children’s Grief during Uncertain Times,” hosted by Ms. Sarah Hopkins, MSW, discusses how to support children ages 6-12 years old through losses that they may be facing due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
